Alessandra Ambrosio was interested in modeling from a very young age so she started taking modeling lessons very early. Her hard work and determination paid off when she got a chance to appear in “Look of the year” contest organized by Elite in 1996. Though Alessandra was not able to win it and she was able to impress Elite management which led her to Elite modeling contract next year.

Soon Alessandra Ambrosio started getting recognition and she appeared on the cover page of famous magazine Elle. This led her to the biggest modeling offer of her career, modeling for GUESS? Where she does an advertisement campaign for clothing line. Since then Alessandra has appeared on the cover page of lots of other magazines like Caprircho, Desfile, Harper’s Bazaar and Wallpaper.

Till now Alessandra Ambrosio has walked on ramp for designers like Byblos, Fendi, Laura Biagiotti, Christian Lacroix, Kenzo, Chirstian Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Nicole Miller etc. Other than GUESS? Alessandra has done modeling for Revlon cosmetic, victoria’s secret, Gap, Calvin Klein eywear and Giorgio Armani.

In 2004, Alessandra Ambrosio was selected as the first spokesperson of Victoria secret pink line. She has done a small part in James Bond movie Casino Royale in which she has played the role of a tennis player who eyes James Bond when he walks by her.

Other than modeling and acting, Whenever Alessandra Ambrosio gets free time, she likes to fulfill her hobbies which includes snowboarding, listening brazilian music on a beach, reading her favorite books, watching her favorite tv shows like 24 and Os Normais, watching movies, net surfing, copoeira, roller skatting.

Currently Alessandra Ambrosio is dating with fellow model Marcelo Boldrini.
